The Illusions Of New Ways To Make Money

As a well "plugged in" neteprenuer (read to mean subscribed to many email lists), no month will pass before you get an email in your inbox about a new way to make money online. In Russell Wright's Market Domination report, he notes " the idea that there are constant new ways to make money online is an illusion...under this illusion and [at a] rush to make a fortune online through this new methods, [you] actually miss out on getting the simple facts and skills that will bring you long term success'.

Holding on to sound business principles has never been as important as it is in the internet business. And as Wright points out, there are simple facts and skills, however they are not obvious. The internet has such a knack for supporting warped business concepts due to ease of reach and access to a large gullible populace.

The illusion that there are constant new ways to make money breeds in the fertile grounds of the first illusion discussed here last week - that of constant change.Wright nails it when he says, "whenever 'the next big thing' comes along, there is always another internet market product for me to buy that is supposed to be the best way to cash in on the latest changes online"

The new ways of making money ride on the fact that things are changing.

And by being an early adopter you can cash in before everyone else. And though there is truth in profits being first to market, you need to note there has to be a market; a sizable sustainable market.Otherwise you will be dealing with a passing fad rather than an incoming trend. This is the difference; trends are usually evolutionary and not revolutionary as is always presented by fads.Market trends are gradual events, overtime, many times building on the past hence evolutionary. This is opposed to fads that easily come out of the blues and jump on you.

Even with trends you really do not have necessarily a new way to make moneys, rather a different way.Often this way is more convenient, cheaper or better or some other positive adjectives as far as the market is concerned.

This illusion of new ways to make money can be blamed on particular cliques of prominent internet personalities that feed their email lists with the fear of change. These cliques then profit from selling the purported anti-dote to the change through joint ventures and affiliate programs. However what is not clear is whether this is done as a well planned rip-off or they too are disillusioned.

These cliques consist mainly of individuals that entered the internet business in its early ages when the internet was still getting its footing in the world's economics. This was a time of perpetual change as the human race expected big things to happen with the internet but were not exactly sure how it was going to happen. With the entry of email list these individuals managed to gain access to many netprenuers inboxes. So their ideologies tend to spread like wild fire.Obviously when they hold on to wrong ideologies they tend to infect a whole lot of people.

But a word of caution from king Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, "Is there anything of which one can say Look! There is something new?It was here already, long ago; it here before our time." So if it's new, buyer beware.

Internet Marketing Methods for Helping to Sell Your EBooks

Internet marketing is the key to getting attention to any product or service you want to sell.

If you plan on writing ebooks and want to make a sizable profit from it, then you have to make your presence known in that cosmic territory known as the world wide web. There is a sea of competitors out there who also write and self-publish ebooks and they are all trying to get the attention of a global audience. To stand out from the crowd, you need to know how to effectively utilize internet marketing.

First, you need to determine the types of people you want to gear your internet marketing towards. You can figure out your demographics by doing a little research to find out what groups of individuals would be most likely to need the information in your ebooks. For example, if the topics of your ebooks are related to work-from-home opportunities for college students, then you would need to focus your internet marketing strategies on promoting your products on online sites, forums and the like that are popular with .college students.

The main thing you need to do is to bring the most people you can to where your ebooks are by getting the link to your products in the search engines. Methods for achieving this include pay per click advertising, search engine optimization or seo and more. The higher your site is ranked in the search engines, the more chances you have of bringing potential online customers to your ebooks.

Another great internet marketing tool is blogging.A blog is an online journal, of sorts, where you post comments and information where the public can read it.Setting up your own blog and writing about topics related to your ebooks and featuring links to your products is a great way to help generate sales.

One of the most recent phenomenon, in terms of marketing ebooks and any other product, is social networking sites.Social networking is the coming together of various people to a common online community. They break up into smaller groups, based upon their personal preferences, hobbies and common interests.Everybody has heard of MySpace and Facebook, where thousands of businesses have set up pages to promote their products to a huge circus of potential customers. These types of sites have evolved into an effective resource of internet marketing.

Don't just focus on the better known social networking sites, however.Marketing on lesser known social networking sites may be even more effective, because there is not as much competition. Some examples of small social networking sites include BoomJ- geared towards baby boomers, Cafe Mom- for mothers and Linked in, geared towards the business community. It seems like there is a new social networking site being created every time you turn around. All of them can be useful tools to market your ebooks and generate sales.

Other common internet marketing strategies are promoting your ebooks by writing articles, sending out press releases, submitting your links to directories and sending out information to opt-in email groups.

There are, as you can see, several ways you can promote your products on the internet, all with the ultimate goal of getting folks to spend money on your ebooks.

Explore all of the vast options open to you for promoting your ebooks and determine which internet marketing methods will work best.

A PPC Professional Guide To Successful PPC Campaigns

The search engines like Google, MSN, and Yahoo!that feature PPC platforms have given business owners a cost effective and sustained way for attracting targeted visitors to their websites.Even more exciting, these visitors are often ready to purchase upon clicking a PPC ad to go to a website.By positioning your business in the right way, you will send a healthy dose of traffic your way.If your website does a good job of converting visitors into customers, your online business will flourish. While this may sound simple in theory, developing the system is challenging.

This PPC professional article provides you with some ideas for developing a profitable PPC campaign.By making use of these fundamentals, you can get your business started on the road to success.By furthering these basics through working with an experienced pay per click company, you can take your business to the next level.

Analyzing Your Competition

It is rare for a business to have no competition.

With professional PPC marketing, the expertise of your competition will affect the position, cost, and productivity of your ads. When working with a pay per click company, they will conduct a competitive analysis of your competition to identify the best PPC keywords and opportunities for your business.

Selecting The Most Profitable Keywords

After analyzing the campaigns of your competitors, you should select the keywords that will work best for your business.

While this may sound simple, it's actually quite complicated because you must identify the exact keywords being used by your target consumer, separating them into words and phrases that will most likely bring about the desired action. The wrong keywords can be disastrous and expensive for your business.A pay per click company will use their expertise and some well thought out tools to select the most profitable keywords.

Writing Your PPC Ads

Your PPC ads have one purpose, to motivate a click.

While anyone performing a search using one of your keywords is a prospect, all prospects are not worth pursuing. Some prospects are more targeted, so your ads should be written in a way that attracts targeted prospects while dissuading any others from clicking on your PPC ad since every click costs you money.

Creating Landing Pages

A good PPC ad will get a targeted prospect to click through to your website, but if your website doesn't do a good job of converting them into customers, all is lost.

To become a true PPC professional, you must create informative and persuasive landing pages. After clicking, prospects must see a website that satisfies a need without disrupting the thought process that made the target click on your ad.An experienced pay per click company knows what it takes to create effective landing pages.

Setting Up A PPC Professional Tracking System

Many new PPC marketers fail to set up a tracking system for tracking their results.

You won't know which keywords, ads, or landing pages are most effective without a tracking system.A failure to track your PPC campaigns will cost you, especially because sometimes only one element is what keeps the entire campaign from being a financial success.A pay per click company will have a tracking system in place that will ensure the profitability of your campaigns.

An experienced pay per click company can handle all aspects of your PPC professional campaign.Their experience and guidance in creating an entire PPC marketing campaign can take the burden away while increasing the profits of your business.

4 Reasons Traditional Advertising Doesnt Work for Law Firm Marketing

One thing is certain: if your law firm is going to continue to grow, it must grow its client base as well. Clients come and clients go but not all clients come back again. As a rule of thumb, people try to avoid putting themselves in situations that even require an attorney. Most repeat clients only need your services on a spatial basis and that is not enough work to create the growth you want. This is the reason you have implemented your law firm marketing program; to accommodate this growth required in your client base.

Is the law firm marketing program you are currently following filling that void adequately Chances are, not as well as you would like. The question is why is not producing like you had hoped Does this frustration seem all too familiar to you If so, you are not alone. The growing pains of expanding any law practice go with the territory. Now you must decide where to go from here. If your law firm marking plan is based on a traditional advertising model, that may be a large part of the problem you are experiencing. This type of advertising simply doesnt work well for law firm marketing.

Traditional advertising as a law firm marketing plan drains your budget, costs many hours of time and leaves your waiting room virtually empty. Does this frustration seem all too familiar to you If so, you are not alone. The growing pains of expanding any law practice go with the territory. Now you must decide where to go from here.

Successful marketing requires diligence, patience and some good old-fashioned creativity in order to turn prospects into clients. For this reason, you must first determine who are your most likely clients and determine the best way to reach them.

Legal clients are seeking a trained professional who can learn the facts, present them to others and convince the offending party that their clients deserve what is being asked of them. Legal clients are not the same as those targeted by a car salesman or an insurance company. Legal clients have specific needs that can only be met by your law firm.

Here are four reasons why regular advertising methods dont work for you and what you can do to change it:

1. In many cases, the owner of the law firm who placed the ad ends the campaign too early. Advertisements take a long time to produce noticeable results. If you have only just begun to advertise your legal services, you cannot expect clients to come knocking at your door after the first week or two. Until they begin seeing your marketing efforts
consistently, they have no idea that you even exist.

2. It is vital that you find ways to measure and compare the results of your law firm marketing efforts. Paying no attention to how your marketing efforts are working for you is just a waste of your time and money. You must test campaigns against each other to discover which ones work well and which ones you should abandon. Unfortunately, results from advertising are notoriously difficult to measure. Therefore due diligence is required to separate the seed from the chaff. This goes for the actual determining of who will be a good prospective client and who is just a bad prospect.

3. Often, the downfall of an advertisement is that it misses its purpose. This purpose is to create a desire within your target market to buy your product or service over and over again. It is not to make people laugh, win awards, use special effects or to be clever.

4. Many companies tend to advertise only when they are desperate for new clients. Your law firm marketing has already fallen short of its mark if you have reached the point where you need new clients in order to stay afloat. The best time to advertise and reach more target markets is when you really dont need them. When you are at the top of your game and have a case back-log, this is when you would do well to seek additional clients.

A lawyer who shows genuine interest and concern for a clients needs and is willing to work them into a busy schedule is much more likely to win over a new client than one who is barely treading water and has no cases in the works. A quiet office, an empty calendar and no phones ringing tell prospective clients that you arent busy because you arent that good.

The best way to continue putting forward your best efforts in the realm of successful law firm marketing is to ask yourself this question: If you were looking for a good, skilled and reputable lawyer, where would you begin looking Think long and hard about the answers that first come to mind. These are likely the places most people seeking legal counsel would go to first; that is where your marketing efforts must also be prominent.
